Terms & Conditions – Miura Snowsports School (Hokkaido Global Co., Ltd.)

  • Lessons are subject to instructor availability, we recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance. If lessons are not paid in full by 9am the day prior to the booking, then we can’t guarantee an instructor and any deposit paid will not be refunded
  • Kids Mighty Miura lessons are 5-12 years of age, a minimum of 2 children per level is required for the lesson to be conducted. If we only have one child for the lesson, the lesson will be reduced to an AM lesson.
  • Up to three persons for a full day private lesson and three persons for a half day and 2hrs private lesson is allowed, if their skiing or snowboarding abilities are the same, this will be determined by the instructor. For each additional person above those will be charged a fee, important that all participants are of the same ability
  • All lessons will be conducted regardless of the weather conditions, but if there is not suitable terrain due to lift closure then lessons will be rescheduled
  • A deposit of 20% is required for online bookings at the time of the booking. The remaining amount must be paid 14 days prior to the booking commencement or the booking will be cancelled. If we allow the lesson to commence because we have available instructors, the outstanding amount will be billed via Stripe with the credit card used for the deposit
  • When a guest hasn’t paid the full amount by 9am the day prior, the lesson can be cancelled and there will be no refund of the deposit
  • Once the season commences, all bookings are required to pay the full amount
  • Any changes to a lesson by a customer, must be made by 9am the day prior to the lesson. If changes are made after the 9am deadline, it is up to the discretion of the manager to accept the change, but refunds will not be provided for customers cancelling
  • Any booking made 14 days prior to the commencement date, must be paid in full to guarantee an instructor
  • Cancellations of paid bookings made more than fourteen days prior to the booking commencement date will be refunded minus a 10% booking fee
  • Cancellations less than fourteen days and up to 9am the day prior to the booking, may be provided with a credit to be used during the current season or with certain exceptions, the following season, this is based on management discretion
  • Cancellations due to no snow will receive a refund minus a 3% booking fee
  • All guests acknowledge there are inherent risks while participating in Snowsports activities and that Kamui Resort (Hokkaido Global KK) will not be held liable for any accidents or injuries during, before or after Snowsports School lessons – outlined in our disclaimer when you book
  • If a workshop or a kids lesson does not meet the minimum 2 person requirement, then it will change to a half day session
  • We strongly recommends guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected costs incurred by travel delays, injury or illness
  • All pricing is stated pre-sales tax
  • By booking with Hokkaido Global Co., Ltd. you have agreed to the booking terms and conditions

Terms & Conditions – Kamui Sports Rental (Hokkaido Global Co., Ltd.)

  • Online Bookings can be made up to the start date if the equipment is available. Bookings can also be made directly at Kamui Sports Rental on the day
  • A deposit of 20% is required for online bookings at the time of the booking to guarantee the booking. The remaining amount must be paid 14 days prior to the booking commencement or the booking will be cancelled
  • Once the season commences, all bookings are required to pay the full amount
  • If a booking hasn’t been paid in full prior to commencement and booked online, the outstanding amount will be billed by us through Stripe via the credit card used for the deposit
  • Cancellations of paid bookings made more than fourteen days prior to the product date will receive a refund minus the deposit paid
  • Cancelations due to no snow will receive a refund minus a 3% booking fee
  • Cancellations/reductions of bookings on the day of the product date will not be refunded
  • Once the booking has commenced it can not be cancelled and no refunds will be provided
  • Booking alterations can not be made after they have commenced
  • Booking alterations may be made more than one day prior to the booking date
  • If we can not provide the exact model of equipment you prefer, we will endeavour to provide a product of similar specs
  • In case the total payment of the amended booking excesses the paid amount of the original booking, the payment can be made at Kamui Sports Rental
  • Sometimes the images in the booking pages and process may not exactly reflect the model available
  • You can change equipment such as skis and snowboards if we have it available, if you want to upgrade with products like boots, there will be an additional charge
  • Booking alterations made on the day of the product date will not receive any balance refund. Instead, guests will receive store credit of equal value to the amended portion of the booking. Store credit will be valid for the duration of the guests stay at Kamui
  • Rental equipment is the responsibility of the customer and may incur a fee to cover the the item cost if lost or damaged
  • We strongly recommends guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected costs incurred by travel delays, injury or illness
  • All pricing is stated pre-sales tax
